We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a trustworthy tradesperson for our home improvement. We signed up and listed our project details, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.
- Absolutely no one contacted to us.
- The few quotes we managed to get were unrealistic.
- Worst of all, their customer service was non-existent.
We are very disappointed with Checkatrade and would recommend against using their services. There are much better alternatives out there. We regret having wasted our money on this disappointing service.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My experience with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I booked a trader through their website to handle some crucial home repairs. They seemed trustworthy at first, but it ended up a terrible ordeal.
Even though I paid the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Contact dried up. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with unfinished repairs.
The platform itself has been useless throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been scammed.
